Alumina laboratory crucibles are suitable for melting samples with anhydrous Na2C03 and other weakly alkaline substances as fluxes, laboratory test crucibles are not suitable for melting samples with Na 202, NaOH and other strongly alkaline substances and acidic substances (such as K2S 207 and so on) as fluxes.
Alumina laboratory crucible is composed of porous fused alumina, which is firm and refractory. We use 99.3%-99.7% high purity alumina which can work max 1800C.
