The core competitiveness of 99.3% alumina ceramic tubes stems from their stringent material proportioning and advanced preparation processes. Taking α-Al₂O₃ with a purity of ≥99.3% as the main raw material, these tubes feature strictly controlled impurity content to maximize the inherent advantages of alumina materials. Meanwhile, precise proportioning optimization is adopted to balance the compactness and machinability of the material. During the preparation process, advanced technologies such as Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) are applied to achieve uniform densification of the raw materials. Customization of various specifications is available according to actual requirements, with the outer diameter ranging from 1 to 120 mm and the length from 5 to 1800 mm. The tubes support a variety of structural designs including single-hole, double-hole and four-hole, making them suitable for diverse application scenarios.
In terms of performance, the 99.3% alumina ceramic tube demonstrates all-round advantages of high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and excellent insulation performance.
In terms of high temperature resistance, it can be used for a long time at a temperature of up to 1600℃, with a maximum short-term service temperature of 1800℃ and a refractoriness of 2030℃. Meanwhile, it features a low thermal expansion coefficient of only 7.75×10⁻⁶/℃ in the range of room temperature to 800℃, and can withstand three times of rapid cooling and heating from 1300℃ to room temperature without cracking, making it stably adaptable to extreme high-temperature working conditions such as high-temperature furnaces and industrial kilns.
For wear resistance, it has a Mohs hardness of up to Grade 9, with wear resistance 20 times that of ordinary steel pipes and 15 times that of cast iron pipes, second only to diamond. It can effectively resist the scouring and wear of solid-liquid mixtures and dust particles, greatly extending the service life.
In terms of corrosion resistance, its stable crystal structure enables it to resist the erosion of sulfuric acid with a concentration of more than 90%, hydrochloric acid with a concentration of more than 50% and high-temperature strong alkali solutions, achieving no corrosion and no leakage. It can replace traditional metal pipes for the transportation of corrosive media such as acid-alkali wastewater and sulfur-containing flue gas.
At the same time, this ceramic tube has excellent electrical insulation performance, with a volume resistivity of >10¹⁴Ω·cm at room temperature and a breakdown voltage of >10KV/mm, as well as an excellent air tightness. It is an ideal choice for the protection of temperature measuring elements and electrical insulation applications.
As a key segmented product in the special ceramics industry, the extensive application of 99.3% alumina ceramic tubes not only drives the iterative upgrading of ceramic material preparation technologies, but also helps various industries achieve the development goals of cost reduction, efficiency improvement and environmental protection.
