Alumina ceramic tubes are used in high-temperature furnaces
In the scenario of steel smelting, alumina ceramic tubes are used to transport high-temperature furnace gas and liquid slag inside the blast furnace. For example, in the blast furnace ironmaking process of a certain steel enterprise, it can work stably in a high-temperature environment above 1000°C continuously. It has successfully replaced the traditional metal pipelines, avoiding the blockage problem caused by thermal deformation. At the same time, it can withstand the erosion of corrosive gases such as sulfides.
A certain glass production enterprise uses alumina ceramic tubes as components of the burners in high-temperature kilns, which directly withstand the impact of flames at temperatures above 1,300°C. Compared with traditional materials, its thermal shock stability is increased by 6.2 times. There are no cracks under working conditions with frequent temperature fluctuations, helping to achieve the continuous production of high-quality float glass.
