The alumina ceramic crucible is suitable for melting samples with anhydrate Na2C03 and other weak base materials as flux, but not suitable for melting samples with Na202, NaOH and other strong base materials and acidic materials (such as K2S 207, etc.) as flux.

11.How do you clean alumina?

To clean a TGA alumina crucible, start by heating the high-temperature furnace to 800°C over a period of 6 hours. This will thermal decompose the nitrate in the crucible to prevent it from cracking. Once the temperature has been reached, let the crucible cool down naturally and then dry it off before use.
