How to use alumina ceramic crucibles correctly
In our forging and experimental processes, crucibles are commonly used equipment. In order to ensure the normal use of the product, it is necessary to master the correct usage method. Below is a brief introduction.
When there is a solid to be heated with high heat, use a crucible. When using alumina ceramic crucibles, the crucible cover is usually placed diagonally on the crucible to prevent heated objects from jumping out and allow air to freely enter and exit for possible oxidation reactions. The crucible, due to its small bottom, usually needs to be placed on a mud triangle to be heated directly by fire. The crucible can be placed directly or diagonally on an iron tripod, and can be placed on its own according to experimental needs.
After heating, do not immediately place the alumina ceramic crucible on a cold metal tabletop to prevent it from cracking due to rapid cooling. It should not be placed immediately on wooden tabletops to prevent scalding or fire. The correct approach is to leave it on an iron tripod for natural cooling, or place it on an asbestos mesh to allow it to cool slowly. Please use crucible pliers for the retrieval of the crucible.
Our factory
Jinzhou Yunxing Industrial Ceramics Co., Ltd. was established in 2000, mainly producing various types of tubular ceramic products and various industrial parts with alumina content above 99.3%. The factory covers an area of 4000 square meters.
The company's main products are: alumina ceramic tubes, alumina ceramic crucibles, alumina ceramic rods, alumina ceramic boats, alumina ceramic plates, alumina ceramic parts, etc.
The company currently has 3 1800 ° C high-temperature furnaces and 2 1400 ° C low-temperature kilns independently designed and manufactured. The molding process is mainly based on grouting molding, and has other molding process equipment such as extrusion and hot die casting.
The company has 105 employees, including one senior ceramic engineer, three engineers, six overseas sales staff, and four professional after-sales staff.
FAQ
A1.Crucibles are used in chemistry laboratories as containers for extremely hot chemical compounds and are made from materials with high-temperature resistance. The ceramic form of alumina is commonly used because of its low cost, strength, and ability to withstand temperatures as high as 3272°F (1800°C).
A2.Alumina crucibles have longer life span compared to clay graphite crucibles, and provide advantage especially for continuous working systems.
A3.Yes.We accept customized alumina crucibles based on drawings.
