Experimental furnace paired with alumina ceramic tube


A domestic new energy materials research and development laboratory mainly conducts high-temperature sintering and modification experiments of lithium battery multi-element positive electrode materials. The core equipment is a 1450 ℃ high-temperature tube type experimental furnace, and the core accessories of the furnace body, temperature protection tubes, and lining transmission tubes in the furnace cavity are subjected to harsh working conditions such as high temperature, oxygen enrichment, and lithium salt dust corrosion for a long time.


At the beginning of the project, the laboratory used 95 alumina ceramic tubes as the core accessory tubes for the experimental furnace. However, many problems were exposed during the long-term high-frequency experiment, which seriously affected the experimental accuracy, safety, and equipment service life. It is urgent to replace high-performance accessory tubes to ensure the stable development of research and development experiments. Based on comparative testing of multiple materials and verification of working conditions, the laboratory ultimately selected 99 high-purity alumina ceramic tubes to replace traditional pipes and fully adapt to high-temperature sintering experimental conditions.


99% high-purity alumina ceramic material, formed by high-temperature sintering, has long-term temperature resistance above 1700 ℃, acid and alkali resistance, high temperature salt spray corrosion resistance, excellent insulation, no metal ion precipitation, fully suitable for high-temperature sintering experimental environment of positive electrode materials.
