Customer Requirements:
An electronic equipment manufacturer needs customized alumina ceramic substrates suitable for industrial control modules. The core requirements include insulation performance, thermal conductivity and precise dimensions, aiming to resolve unstable equipment operation caused by insufficient heat dissipation and mismatched dimensions of traditional substrates. A batch customization of 500 pieces is required, with prototype verification to be completed within 7 days and bulk delivery within 15 days.
Custom Solution
Tailored to the operating scenario of the customer's industrial control module, we use 99.3% high-purity alumina raw material with a thermal conductivity of 25 W/(m·K), which matches their power requirements and cost control objectives. High-precision extrusion technology is adopted to control substrate dimensions within the minimum tolerance specified by the customer. We have coordinated with the workshop on the process flow to minimize the kiln-firing time for samples and shorten the overall delivery lead time for the customer.
Delivery & Feedback
Samples were delivered to the customer within 7 days. After insulation resistance testing, all indicators met the customer’s standards and industry specifications.
Bulk products were delivered on schedule. Following installation and testing, the customer provided feedback that the customized substrate featured excellent insulation performance, with heat dissipation efficiency increased by 30% compared with traditional substrates. It is fully compatible with the complex working conditions of industrial control modules, effectively solving pain points such as equipment overheating and poor contact. A long-term bulk cooperation intention was subsequently reached.
