As a thermocouple protection tube: this is its most common application. The wires of the thermocouple (a temperature-measuring element) pass through the hollow inner bore, while the rod body is fixed to the furnace wall via threads at both ends, guiding the temperature-sensing tip of the thermocouple into the furnace chamber for real-time temperature monitoring inside the furnace. The ceramic material protects the fragile internal metal thermocouple wires from high temperatures, corrosion and mechanical damage.
As an insulating connection and support component: it can also be used to support and fix heating elements, heat shields or other internal structures inside the furnace body. Its excellent insulating properties can effectively prevent electric leakage and ensure equipment safety.
