Share an unexpected surprise in the new year. My consulting client at the end of last year sent an inquiry asking for a simple size price. We will make a complete quotation for the customer.

After about a week, the customer replied and asked some questions about product energy efficiency. At this point, we felt that the customer would definitely make a deal because they had already communicated in detail. But after this communication, the customer no longer had any news and sent many follow-up calls without replying. We are guessing the reason why the customer did not continue to reply.

When the company held a review meeting at the end of the year, we also shared the situation of this customer with our colleagues, and we analyzed and studied the follow-up together. We didn't contact the client until the New Year holiday.

I started working in the new year, and one day I suddenly received an email from this client. He told us to confirm the status of the previous order and prepare for payment.

At that time, we were really surprised. After confirming the order with the customer, we also asked if they had received the follow-up message we sent later. The customer said they had seen it, but he never replied because he was also conducting price and product comparisons and investigating our factory. We'll have a cool banquet after it's better.
