A good alumina ceramic product needs a good molding process. A good molding process can obtain a good green density. The green density affects the ceramic density and the ceramic performance. 

At present, the main alumina ceramic molding processes on the market in China include dry pressing, isostatic pressing, hot die casting, injection, grouting, tape casting, etc. According to the different molding processes, the powder should be treated in advance, such as dry pressing, isostatic pressing, granulation first, and injection molding should be prepared into slurry first.

A good sintering system of alumina ceramics, a good sintering system can obtain ceramics with higher density, lower porosity and stronger mechanical properties, and a good temperature rise curve can clean the glue and water in the blank without over-firing, and can also shorten the firing time. At present, the main sintering systems are atmospheric sintering, pressure sintering, atmosphere sintering, reaction sintering, etc.

With good grinding, the fired ceramics always have edges and corners to be machined. Alumina ceramics have higher hardness and wear resistance than traditional ceramics and are more difficult to grind. Grinding and processing of some products accounts for a large part of the cost, especially how to process high-precision industrial components well, and reducing errors is one of the key points for making ceramics well.
